Gymnastics Medicine teams up with Beam Queen Bootcamp!
In August 2021, Dr. Elly Hart was a guest clinician at Samantha Peszek’s Beam Queen Bootcamp in Danbury, Connecticut. Elly spent roughly 20-30 minutes with each Beam Queen group, showing the gymnasts injury prevention exercises. Under Elly’s guidance, each group focused on safe landing mechanics, ankle and glute strengthening, avoiding hyperextend elbows, performing splits with square hips, aswel as posture and shoulder strength!
